BHA has a long lasting relationship with the City of Greeley. We’ve been fortunate to be able to help them fulfill their city beautification goals by designing a number of entryway monument signs and various other streetscape improvement projects. The South East Gateway sign is a continuation on a theme established at the West US-34 Bypass entryway monument in the form and use of local materials and subtle botanic motif.
The South East Gateway monument sign features natural stone facing sand blasted and stained lettering, native grass artwork, embedded linear LED lighting in precast concrete caps. The three component sign is integrated into the site topography with a sinuous stone retaining wall and lush plantings. The flow of the wall and landscape beckon to the flow of people passing through the gateway.
