Country Lane Park is a four acre neighborhood park located in Aurora, Colorado. Themed after the agrarian history of the site, this small park is centered on a riparian promenade which separates the great lawn from the playground, play court, and shelter plazas.
Plantings derived from orchard rows, barn-inspired shelters, rural fences, a two-track crusher fines walk, and crop banding themed plazas and playgrounds add to the agrarian feel of the park.
Water harvesting channels capture and use adjacent street runoff to irrigate native plantings, while a custom water quality well filters irrigation runoff prior to releasing it back into the city storm system.
