BHA provided landscape architecture and master planning services for 8th Ave. from 16th Street to 10th Street. The aim of the project is to enhance the pedestrian experience and charm of the connection between UNC and the downtown districts. Prior to the project, the streetscape was devoid of trees and pedestrian scale elements. BHA worked with the City of Greeley and stakeholders to craft a plan that would enhance the corridor, improving pedestrian interest, safety and business development.
Key features include: pedestrian scale lighting, street trees, art “trees”, enhanced corners with decorative rails and seating.
