BHA Design was selected to help the Town of Berthoud create a vision for the future of Mountain Avenue. What exists today is an appealing collection of historic and scenic character districts that have helped to maintain a tenable sense of individuality and community. BHA’s task was to preserve it’s charm by identifying what makes Berthoud unique and enhance it by guiding future development in a direction that is realistic and contextual for the town. We identified opportunities for improvement and suggested approaches that will best service the future needs, produced renderings that help vision a uniform design direction, and laid the foundation for a code-based enforcement of sensitive development.
