The 23rd Street Bridge is a new pedestrian connection extending from the Buff Walk to north campus across Boulder Creek. This project replaces two bridges previously damaged by flooding. The new connection spans 400 feet over the Boulder Creek Bike Path and Boulder Creek, traversing a 35-foot grade differential with an elevated canopy walk system. The trail was completed in 2019.
