The Mitchell Block is a four-story, corporate office building located in the Old Town district in Fort Collins Colorado.
Unique features include the use of pervious pavement, rain gardens with water quality monitoring stations, on-street bike rack, natural stone pavers, and custom decorative railings.
The project features Low Impact Development (LID) technologies. Several departments at the City teamed up with the developer and CSU to develop a storm water strategy for the project. Features included testing boxes, permeable pavers rain gardens and tree filters.
